Dr. Lori Salierno works as a passionate keynote speaker, is the author of several books and is the co-creator of the Teach One to Lead One philosophy. She is an avid spokeswoman for the cause of transforming at-risk youth into responsible citizens. Dr. Lori balances her time between the management of her successful non-profit organization and invitations to speak to audiences throughout the world.

The Campaign for Fair Sentencing of Youth

As a Program Director for the YMCA of Middle TN, Eric operated a three-point program that addressed the socio emotional development in students with behavioral and academic performance issues. Eric now serves as the Youth Justice Advocate with the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth. In his role he speaks to groups throughout the country in support of our public education and advocacy efforts.

Eric is a founding member of the Incarcerated Children’s Advocacy Network. He also works with formerly incarcerated youth to help engage them deeply and strategically in the movement for the fair sentencing and treatment of all children.

Dr. David Newman is one of the world’s leading experts on the history, mission and future of the YMCA. He has spent more than a decade training, speaking and inspiring a vision of the global potential of the YMCA. He pastors a church that is strategically partnered with his local Y and has a life-long vision of seeing a church partnered with all 14000 YMCAs on the planet. David has had the opportunity to experience the mission of the YMCA in some of the most remote parts of the world as he has helped to build third world YMCAs, train village leaders and play with many orphans.

Ephesus Ministries (Buffalo)

Daniel is an Elder and Minister of Music at Ephesus Ministries (Buffalo), Community Outreach Liaison for the Medina Central School District and founder of West Side Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. He has been seen and heard speaking at Christian Leadership Conferences around the continental United States.

He is an accomplished entertainer whose specialty is the combination of vocal performance and theatre.

Cal Turner has served as Chairman of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Cal’s commitment to the Methodist Church has been a lifelong personal ministry of faith. The Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church inducted Mr. Turner into the Fellows of the Society of John Wesley in 2001, for distinguished service to local church mission and ministry.

What does the conference price include?
Registration for the event includes all conference materials, dinner on Wednesday, both lunch and dinner on Thursday, as well as break refreshments.
When will the full schedule be available?

The full conference schedule with keynote lineup and breakout information will be available by early August.

Mission Ignition will begin at 3 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 15 and end at roughly noon on Friday, Nov. 17.

Are there scholarships available to attend this event?

Unfortunately, at this time there are no scholarships available to attend this event. In order to keep costs down, we encourage you to consider sharing a room with another conference attendee. If you would like help finding someone to room with, email scox@ymcacw.org and you will be added to the list.

What is your refund policy?

You must contact us on or before Oct. 15 for a refund of your conference fees less a $45.00 cancellation fee per person.

You may at any time up to a week before the conference change the name associated with the registration at no cost. To change the name, please contact Sam Cox at scox@ymcacw.org.
