“I loved being able to worship our Savior alongside my colleagues.

This conference added an entirely new dimension to my love of the Y, and I am invigorated with new passion for my work!”

This testimonial is one of many great reports from the Serve to Lead 2018 conference.

This is the third year that the Christian Principles Network of the YMCA of Greater Twin Cities has sponsored this one day event. This year’s conference, held on May 3, brought together Y members, volunteers, staff, and corporate and community partners. As always, the program featured inspiring keynote speakers, practical breakout sessions, worship, prayer and leadership development.

Bjorn Dixon, Pastor of The Why Church and organizer of this event on behalf of the Christian Principles Network of the YMCA of Greater Twin Cities, shared some highlights from this year’s gathering.

• 23 YMCAs participated
• 4 YMCA camps represented
• 11 YMCA Twin Cities departments and programs
• 21 partner organizations and churches
• Tripled their financial support from last year!

174 years ago this week the YMCA was founded as 12 young men in London met together to pray. What started on June 6, 1844 continues today! Enjoy this short video montage of Serve to Lead 2018 as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and the YMCA mission!
